General Advice about intake and exerciseg
Basically I just wanted to know if what I'm doing is good, bad, etc. I'm a 23 year old male, roughly 6' and 179. I feel overweight but not really that much but feel I am in terrible shape. As of the past two weeks I have found this site and I feel like I am doing much better but am not 100% sure. Before this I was okay with drinking many soda's a day, eating out a ton (I am a college student) and pretty much 0 exercise.

Though as of two weeks ago when I first started this I have roughly averaged my daily intake to about 1400 calories a day. I have eaten out once since so, only because my mom came to town and didn't want me to cook, as well as i tried to get the healthiest choice there. I cook the rest of the time, or eat stuff like sandwiches, cereal. I've stopped eating sweets like candies, chocolates, icecreams and have really had no desire for them. My snacks usually consist of veggies, fruits, or granola bars. My water intake has increased. My only krptonite it mountain dew, which i still do have one or two a day. Usually 12oz can size. I've started walking about 4 miles daily which feels really great and lifting, starting small of course.

So I basically just wanted to know what my path is looking like to all those that are more advanced at this kinda stuff.

I hope you are now successful and have lost a lot of weight! Answering in case someone else is in the same situation as you.
In successful weight loss, gradualness is important. You've cut your calories drastically, and I'm guessing you've had relapses when you've been eating non-stop.
Healthy eating does not mean giving up certain foods, but reducing the amount of food consumed. You can drink soda if you are burning extra calories at the gym or riding a bike, it is great, or being active in general.
Good luck!

I just want to say that all will not be able to beat Chat GPT. Here you can ask anything it is a smart AI and it can answer it all. Even if you are off about some cookie cookie clicker games.
