Break Your Barriers

If you look at losing weight as a chore, a goal, a need, a job, or anything that requires extreme concentration & focus then you're not going to get anywhere.
Losing a few pounds is just a step towards loving yourself even more. Oh & why did I say MORE instead of BEGINNING to love yourself? That's because if you don't love & accept yourself as you are this very instant & every second after & before this moment you've already failed.
So let me get cliche` on you for a second. This is a journey you're on. You cannot begin a treacherous hike with faulty equipment or with people you cannot trust your life with. Since sculpting your body is a personal journey you have to trust yourself. Respect yourself. Love yourself. Before you can alter your asthetic self you absolutely must start with your soul; the you that only you know. This is really hard. Extreme. Yoga & incense may help but those are only accoutrements to the work you must do to manifest any desired result.
This will be an ongoing blog I hope, I want to help other people reach the confidence I experience every day. When I wake up; despite the smeared eyeliner, tousled dreads, foul breath, & disheveled pajamas, I smile at my reflection. That's how everyone should feel when they wake up. Let me help you get there.
The only thing I ask is feedback.
If I get nil comments whether negative or positive I will cease to post bulletins. I want to know what you're struggling with. Odds are I've been there or I'm dealing with the same thing right now. Read other comments & offer advice to them. Perspective is a powerful tool, & the more ways you can look at a glass of water the easier it is to drink it. Think about that.
I'll ask you to do something everytime I post a blog (which I hope I can turn into a video blog, maybe via youtube, any suggestions?). Usually it'll be something you do during your day or I may ask you to ponder something & post your response.
So, like I said, FEEDBACK!
Age is nothing, experience is everything.
Keep smiling,
Lily <3
