Take a Day Off-

- from stressing about your "diet" (cringe... hates that term).

Have one day, say your Sunday, off to throw your little tricks & guiltless indulgences out the window. Have that cookie or piece of pie that just looks absolutely delicious. Don't kill yourself working out.
Istead, do this.

Go about your day, do whatever you do to relax like going for a walk in the park, but make time to go home & eat, you are taking a day off remember, you have the time. Want something sweet? Go for it! But wanting a piece of pie stops once you've had a (reasonably sized) piece of pie.

Allowing yourself to have the things you like helps you have more self control. If you deny yourself every comfort of culinary brilliance your just torturin rather than training your cravings. You'll end up binging if you approach it this way.

The better you become at your portions of extra delicious, usually off limits, food then extend that policy to your whole week. Don't let that one day off become your focus. It's not healthy either. You have the freedom to live how you want. Need a diet plan? Fine, but tailor it to YOUR lifestyle. Don't change who you are to stick to a meal regiment that may not even work with your body chemistry. Food has different effects on everyone, it's totally natural because everyone has different genes & such. Yes, exerise & eating right are the reasons for this whole ordeal you are putting yourself through. But who says it has to be activities & food that  you don't like? Find something enjoyable that's good for you.

You don't have to run to lose weight; there are better alternatives. I swim. I absolutely love it, it's just what I do. In the ocean, in a competition lap pool, at the community pool with friends; it doesn't matter. Swiming is probably the best exercise there is. It works your whole body & it's low impact which is good for my back & shoulders (they've taken a good beating between car accidents & sport injuries). You don't even need to have a plan for your laps. I just go & start swimming slow to warm up & I just start going cuz it's just so exciting for me. I love sprinting, or working on different strokes but I won't force myself past what I feel physically up to.

Point is, find what you love. Try new things. Be kind to your tastebuds.
Food is too much a human marvel to not enjoy. Just be smart.

It's Sunday, go to the park. Ride a bike, OUTside not in a gym. Try a new sport, like tennis. It's addicting. Learning something new is an adrenaline rush, if you disregard your insecurities. No one thinks about you as much as you do. No one's staring at you unless you make it obvious that you're uncomfortable.

Go. Play. Just have a good day.
