So how did I do it???

Was it easy?  Well more so than one might think. 

The science in simple terms:  HHCG is a homeopathic version of a hormone known as HCG, that forces, or tricks the body into burning stored fat rather than muscle when on a very low calorie diet.  Those of you out there, that have tried extreme low calorie diets, know that sooner or later your body stops burning fat, and starts burning protein (muscle); this is commonly referred to as Starvation mode.  When your diet puts you into starvation mode, you stop loosing or sometimes even gain weight, as your body will store every extra calorie you consume as fat!

The Diet:  The diet or protocol is broken into 3 phases;

Phase 1 Preload
Basically eat for 2 days like you’ve never have before, take this serious, proper preload is instrumental to success.  The best way to preload is with high fat content foods such as nuts, and avocados, go easy on the sweets...Even if you think you eat enough already for preload, force-feed yourself.   It’s important!

Phase 2 Spray and VLC (very low calorie) diet
The spray is simply applied by spraying directly into the mouth 2 sprays in the morning, and 2 at night.  No shots!  No eating or drinking 15 minutes before or after.

The Diet, 500 calories a day.  Yes I know it sounds like a crazy low amount, but I can honestly say I never felt hungry a single day during the protocol.  The reason is your body is actually eating that previously stored fat (this is an oversimplification of course).  But really 500 calories will seem like a lot!

Phase 3 Maintenance and reset,
This phase is broken into two 3 week segments p3a carb and sugar free, and p3b carbs and sugars gradually reintroduced.

The calorie intake for this phase is determined by your average daily loss during phase 2(ex. 1lb/dayx3500=3500 calories/day required to maintain your weight). 

The reset component is where the hypothalamus is reset, and a new set weight, (that weight that your body just naturally seems to want to stay at), is established. 

Believe me when you get to this phase, and find out that you have to eat 3500 or more calories a day, it will seem like the biggest cheat ever, and will actually be hard to consume that many cals(if you eat healthy cals, and why not, you have just worked very hard to get where you are!).  Take advantage of the terrific tools found Here www.fitclick.com and here www.tickerfactory.com

Now for the questions I think you are thinking...

I don't want to lose that much, do I have to spray for the whole 43 days?...Lose as much or little as you want, simply stop the spray when you reach your goal, and begin phase 3.  You must however, do all 6 weeks of phase 3.

What about energy?...I can tell you that as a Firefighter, I had that very same concern, and it was never a problem.  Don't forget the 3500 calories or more of fat that your body is consuming a day.  Just because it didn't go in through your mouth, doesn't mean its not there to burn as energy.  Though I did not have energy issues, all people are different.  Typically if energy is an issue, a simple B vitamin supplement daily usually takes care of it.

Did you have any side effects?...No, but as I said everybody is different. If you have underlying medical conditions, such as Diabetes, or hypertension, I would certainly check with your Doctor before starting any diet!
