Here I go....

So I've always loved to exercise, and I don't mind the work...but I'm coming back from an injury that kept me from burning fat for about 3 months!! I feel weak and bloated and I need to get back at it! I've had physical therapy and am ready to ease back into the routine to get my heart pumping again. Thankfully, I've not gained any weight, because I've managed to be careful with my diet but I haven't lost any either. I started the spring/summer out with the goal of "Fit by 40", which was about 6 months away then...now I'm only 2 months away. But it's better to work toward it now...than never!
I joined a Planet Fitness that is only 10 minutes from my office. I have a whole lunch hour to do something productive for myself....and since I'm not a morning person and tend to have something to do after work most nights...I MUST utilize my lunch hour to fit in my exercise each day. Therefore, I'm planning to get at least 30-40 min of cardio and weight training (alternating every other day) during the week, and then being active on the weekends. I think that I'll be well on my way to a better shape and most importantly feel much healthier by my goal date.
So here I go....and I really want to do it this time! I have a whole wardrobe of clothes that I miss wearing because they just barely fit comfortably anymore.
