Yesterday was a great day of just getting out and moving.  Spent the day shopping with my Mother who is 73, window shopping and walking the mall.  This was good for her, good for me, but not so good for my wallet, unless you count how quickly it thinned out.  After arriving home, I quickly changed clothes, turned on some music and began my aerobic exercise (with weights).  About this time, my son came home and started imitating my movements, in a very humorous sort of way, but I continued on.  He convinced me then to join him outdoors jumping rope at (3) sets of 20.  Again, he poked fun because I was double jumping.  What do you expect from someone who hasn't done that for 20 plus years?  and then we took off on a jog through the neighbor hood.  We shared laughs, got fresh air, and spent quality time.  Yesterday I involved my family in my journey toward getting fit, and it felt simply MARVELOUS!
