So just a couple of minutes ago, I was sitting here filling in my food log for the day, when I had an itch around the area between my neck and shoulder. I reached up to scratch when my fingers landed on something much harder than I am used to, and it surprised me so much it took my attention completely away from what I was reading. For a split second I sat there stunned, thinking the worst possible thoughts, broken bone, strained muscle etc etc... when suddenly I realized.... it was my collarbone.
Now for most people this might seem like the silliest thing they've ever heard, but for me this was an incredible feat, because I haven't seen or felt my collar bone in so long... well apparently I forgot I had one!
You can't imagine how happy I was, standing in front of my bathroom mirror just now, flexing my arms and rotating my shoulder around so I could get a better view of my newly rediscovered feature. Its definitely reinspired me, made me feel like all this work is really for something!
I had been feeling a bit discouraged because the scale wasn't showing any diference in the last week... but I daresay, wether the scale likes it or not my collarbone does not lie!
Today, I rediscovered my collarbone, maybe someday soon I'll get to find.... dare I say it... my ribs?!
