Getting it Together

Since getting "back on my feet" I have been keeping quite fit this summer. June has been a hectic month for me. May I was going to the gym A LOT and taking an aerobics class. Then I switched back to my good old fitness center. Now I have a 3-hour/3day/week stats class I'm taking til July. I work 2 part time jobs, one at a nursing home and one doing an ebook and html coding/editing on a website. June has been the hardest month since March for me to exercise, but I manage to do it a decent amount still, despite exhaustion from working. I try and run 2-3miles and lift after work if I'm not too tired. I have been doing more lifting this summer, and I think it really shows that I am toning up slowly. The picture is of me about 2 weeks ago, in the bikini I bought in spring. This is the first bikini I have EVER bought. I am 20 years old and never owned a bikini, because since I was 13 I had an ass the size of a planet- cellulite and all at 13 was totally depressing. Plus I was never athletic til college- only because I had absolutely no confidence and just thought I was too fat to do anything (though I have never been very overweight, I was a tiny bit too curvy at one point). I always wore two-piece suits, but ALWAYS bought suits that covered my bum completely or had a LONG skirt bottom!

Finally being able to wear a bikini and not feel too self-conscious really makes me happy. I still have cellulite though. I see skinny girls with cellulite. I think it's just something you're genetically encoded with and it's a pain in the butt (pun intended!). The only thing that sucks is that recently I've noticed most of my shirts- some I only bought a year or two ago- do not fit me very well anymore.. I've lost a little bit from everywhere. I am trying my damndest not to get too lazy on exercising. I can't wait to go back to school and have the high-quality machines again!

Right now I really need to work on keeping my nutrition up, my hydration up, and I can't wait for my class to be over so I can have a regular sleep schedule again!!!! CIAO!
