I went to the mall yesterday and ate there and had 2 treats. Not going to lose any weight doing that! Today it's going a little better but I'm still eating too much? Portion distortion for real! I'm learning though.

Keeping track of what I'm eating has been very revealing. I need to be mindful of how much I'm eating and the calorie density of the food. I was above my target calories again today, but I am not discouraged! Tomorrow is another chance.

I am currently at the highest weight I have ever been. I am 5'7" tall and weigh 265 lbs. I am not even sure how I got this big. It's like I woke up one day like this. I know that isn't really true. Months of poor food choices and lack of exercise led to this. I had a broken foot and was unable to exercise for months. Now I am so out of shape I hardly know where to start. I am being responsible about it. At my age, 51, and weight I think it's prudent to get checked out
