Christmas goodies are the DEVIL!

The Christmas goodies are in full force.... they linger at every turn. Just when I think I've conquered my cravings and made it through the danger in the lunchroom, I see a stash of chocolates sitting in a big bowl by the photocopier at work! FML..... If its not chocolates, its cookies.... if it's not cookies, its candy. Christmas is a dieters' nightmare! Who invented Eat, Drink and be Jolly?!! Eat, Drink and get fatter is more like it... I've been heading to the gym to work out my food frus...

Hiatus Over

Good news: I hit my thirty pound weight loss in only 2 months. Bad news: I took approx 2 week hiatus from my regular gym routine. But Im back on track! During my hiatus I didn't cheat, I was just too exhausted to exercise... which Im finding is the ultimate key to weight loss. Diet only goes so far unless your busy exercising to keep your metabolism up! So needless to sat over the last 2 weeks I haven't lost any weight. Kinda a plateau but Im going to push myself to start working harder at...

HALF WAY THERE!!

Approx 30 pounds lost!! Wow... I really feel great! I have definitely formed some good habits. Eating breakfast every morning, drinking lots of water, and WANTING to go to the gym! Thats right, I said "wanting". I usually go 6/7 days a week. If I don't go, I feel like a fat slob. End of January and STILL WITH IT!

Im proud to say I've maintained motivation and no cheats... its almost been 30 days! Its safe to say this is the longest I've been on a diet without falling off the wagon! plateau = slow

Well, I have officially hit my plateau. I have been so good this week (only missed fri/sat work outs) and it seems the scale hasn't moved at all this week. Im still doing atkins, and Im still in ketosis... but no weight has come off this week. A little damper on my motivation for sure but Im still gonna hang in there! Gym becoming routine

Well, I've given nothing short of my 120% this week! I went to the gym every day expect for Friday. I allowed myself a break because I shoveled the driveway for 30min. My hard labor replaced the gym. But on Sunday i shoveled the driveway again and WENT to the gym!! Pretty proud of myself. In 2.5 weeks I have lost 20 pounds!! Tomorrow is our weigh in for biggest loser at work, and Im praying the work scale says Ive lost at least 4-5 pounds since last week! I know the home at scale says so! :D...

MINUS 18 POUNDS AND COUNTING!! I think this is the most motivated I have ever been. Pounds are melting off and I hope I dont plateau. I am working out daily, and soon I will begin mixing up my cardio so my body doesnt become adjusted. Ive been dreaming of cake lately. There is a bakery near my house, and they make the BEST cake I have ever eaten. Fresh soft moist chocolate cake, with strawberry, blueberry and kiwi filling and whipped cream icing. Mmmmmmm...
