am coffee
if you mean the kind of coffee that has a lot of flavorings and whole fat cream and sugar in it, there's no way. trust me, i've tried and the only way you can lose weight and still drink those kinds of coffees is if you starve yourself the rest of the day. then you won't feel like working out because you're starving, then it goes downhill from there.
the best way i've found to handle the coffee situation-i'm not a fan of taking it black, either- is non-dairy creamer and if not honey, just a few teaspoons of sugar (i know honey can be expensive but non-dairy creamer and sugar are pretty cheap!) if you can afford it, they have sugar-free flavored syrups, too. hope that helps!!! :o)

Coffee
I have a hungry girl tip that I love!

I use non fat half and half and a teaspoon of dark unsweet cocoa. Then sprinkle with cinnamon.

Or add one once of Silk vanilla almond milk and a pkg of splenda (large mug)

Or add a teaspoon of fat free, sugar free hot chocolate mix.

All for around 20 calories per serving. I limit myself to one cup per day. No exceptions.

If you need the caffeine - consider switching to green tea. It has like 10 X the caffeine of coffee.

Picky eater
Sorry don't know how to get around that one. Are you afraid to try new things? I eat a huge variety of foods, and although I prefer the breads, sweets, and fatty stuff I also enjoy fish, veggies, and lean poultries. I get my sweet on with fruit, my cream on with fat free versions, and reduced my breads down to really small portions. I've increased my protein and veggies, have a small amount of fat per meal, and a small starch, followed by fruit and nuts to snack on.

Do you prefer basic foods like chicken fingers, FF, and pizza or do you prefer foods that are bursting with flavors? If you prefer the more basic comfort type - I'd recommend checking out hungry girl and finding calorie bargains for you favorites. If you like more flavorful stuff, get creative with your spices. I've discovered I love meditranian and indian style foods more than italian and chinese. Who would have known.
