Bunk bed, is it safe?
It definitely isn't a good solution for toddlers but at what age you think it is safe for children to sleep on a bunk bed? We have twins and living at a rather small house so it would be nice to free some space, getting rid of one full-sized bed could really help us to achieve this goal. But bunk bed related injuries may be serious I'm afraid. Maybe there are some special ones for people who are really concerned about safety or something?

Had no incidents in my childhood and now my kids are also sleeping on a bunk bed. I think that there is nothing to be afraid of. And if your situation it definitely seems to be a nice solution. When you don't have much space, adding some this way is an easy fix I'd say

If you think that an accident may occur it's better to give up your idea I think. Otherwise you'll suffer a lot from anxiety.

Maybe considering a twin bed with trundle as an option would be a good idea in your situation. Never actually had one but I am about to buy it now and I am in a similar situation and after evaluating all the pros and cons I decided that it is the right choice so now we are in a process of choosing the right one in terms of design.

Actually, people do fall off bunk beds and it is a rather common thing. Not a big deal as far as I know.
