Restaurant served us NON RIPE avocado--yuk
Last night hubby and I went out for a sandwich at a local chain restaurant. Got the sandwich with avocado listed in the ingredients---I would have preferred if the one served us woulda been RIPE!!! The avocado was so hard that we couldn't even slice it with a knife provided. Of course you know that I didn't keep my mouth shut and let the management know of our disappointment. Still tipped the server the correct amount because it wasn't her fault!

Nothing wrong with opening your mouth when something is not right with your order. They have no idea if you don't let them know. I do the same thing when I eat out, tip the server when the cooks mess up.
Like you said "it wasn't her fault. Have a Happy Easter Donna!

They should have 'comped' your sandwich! Good for you tipping the server! :)

HAD SOME RIPE JUST THIS AFTERNOON YUM!
That is why I rarely eat out, only one or two places that are CONSISTENTLY good and that's it. But, so sorry abt that. Bummer!

Its not just the taste that matters. You should also know if the restaurant kitchen is neat and tidy and if they are cleaning kitchen hood regularly.
