Vietnamese Cuisine
Vietnamese Food..Ever thought of it? There is a colorful array of low cal ,low fat, low carb options out there with this truly exotic food! I include a great deal of it in my diet, and it's been very beneficial. I love American comfort food..but this is somthing to try. Vietnamese recipes and cuisines use an abundance of fresh ingredients - fragrant spices, vegetables and fruits. Dairy products are rarely used and sauces are not thickened with cornstarch as frequently as in Chinese cooking. Fat is also used sparingly. Vietnamese favorite cooking methods are steaming, grilling, broiling or sauteing which are the best ways to preserve the nutrients. thu?ng th?c-Enjoy!

It is good!
But-I prefer authentic Japanese or Thai food, over American style Chinese which is greasy-but REAL Chinese food is awesome. I had Vietnamese only once...once for me was enough, no offense...

You make it v/s they make it..
My husband, said he personally favors when i make Vietnamese rather than visiting a restaurant. I like Thai but it has a lot of heavy creamy peanut recipes..once in a while i may make it(as far as Vietnamese i think it is because i add a little more cayenne and cumin to the recipes than when we eat out) Try at home perhaps rather than out you may be impressed as you can do the most basic flavoring according to your taste. In summary, i agree authentic is better than takeout as it is way healthier~ last night i made an asian eggplant recipe with a drop of soy and chili garlic sauce with mushroom and ginger as some of the main ingredients it was so,so good! Also why asian is a great choice in your diet.. undeniably less fattening -sesame oil has 45 cal and 45 from fat. look at olive oil which most people use on almost everything 120/ 120 OY!( in the end we all have somthing were watching be it..fat,carbs, cals..what ever foods will cut back on that the best- Go with it!:)

L-O-V-E Vietnamese food!
When my man is looking for dinner out, we head straight for our local Vietnamese place. I always have the same pork and beef bun (bowl of rice noodles, raw veggies and grilled pork and beef). I can barely walk out of there because I've eaten so much, but the next day, I always have a good weigh-in.
