What is the BMR? And other beginner's questions
What does BMR stand for and while I know it is something for the basic rate of calories burned during my average day that was linked to the how active I am daily, I'd like some more info on that, and don't know how to find it on the web site.
And then when adding calories burned to the workout and fitness, I know to add specific items such as walking on the treadmill or other specific workout sessions, but what about the things done during the rest of the day? How about the hours spent sleeping, is that included in the BMR? For example if my BMR is 1600 calories and I spend 4 hours sleeping and 20 hours in my daily activity shouldn't that increase the 1600 calories burned, but if I sleep 10 hours shouldn't that decrease my daily activity BMR?
Also, is there a way to search for topics?
Thanks in advance.

BMR
Hey Alexis,
Your BMR is the number of calories you would burn if you stayed in bed all day. That's why you are adding your activities to minus the calories you are losing when you are awake. Now, you won't be taking away every calorie you lose during the day, because it's sort of impossible. Since you lose calories even from just smiling, laughing, chewing gum, etc... What kind of activities are you having a hard time adding to the workout and fitness tracker? Also, what do you mean by searching topics?
