Day One of My Journey

Today is my first day blogging. I have never posted anything on any website. But, I want to lose weight so maybe if I dedicate time to writing, maybe it will be less time in the kitchen . No one may even read this so perhaps this is just me tracking my journey.

For the last year, I managed to put on 20 pounds. I have been the same weight unless I was pregnant, which by the way, after 4 children, this factory is closed. Even though I managed to gain 20 pounds, I would like to lose 30. I want to be healthy and be a better role model to my family.

P.S. Note to self....Don't forget that we have a pool in the backyard which I didn't even get into this summer. How sad is that? I didn't even want to get into a bathing suit. The boat too... I didn't even want to get on the boat. Who wants to see the skinny chicks in bikinis??

So, here goes my "Day One." I am promising myself to be better, be healthier, and exercise more. I may have only did 12 minutes on the treadmill today but it is better than yesterday, which was a big fat 0.
