Whew!

Days are starting to go by pretty quickly lately. I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since we started! Well, so far so good. We didn't get out everyday this week but we were able to work out at least 4 days. I'm feeling pretty good, starting to realize more and more it's about consistency not necessarily intensity all the time. We went out on a run the other day and I said I was going to take it easy and I ended up finishing faster than when I tried to run hard. A great milestone this week, we were able to complete 2 miles without stopping! Yay! It's been so long since I've worked out let alone ran 2 miles, it's just so amazing how much energy you have when you are young....where does it all go when you get older!?? :) Diet is coming along, had a few slip ups this week mostly due to social gatherings, but all in all we're doing good. Just got a challenge from my husbands sister and her husband. They want to compare before and after results in 90 days since they are doing that P90x thing. I suppose I'm up to it, tortoise vs. hare type of deal but it's all good, we all know who comes out on top in the end! :)
