Today is day 1 for me and so far it's a good one. I'm keeping track of what I'm eating. I'm eating smaller portions (which I actually started 2 days ago) and I just got home from a GREAT workout!

My arms feel like jell-o. My legs feel like rubber. My abs feel like they're going to fall off. lol I'm sitting here, drinking my protein shake, and updating on here. Life is good. lol

Though, I know that tomorrow I'm going to really be feeling the pain tomorrow though. I guess it's good that I'm starting with working out 3 days a week. I figure in about 2 weeks I'll add running to my routine and then maybe find a class at the gym for my off days. There are a lot of classes and I don't know which one I want to take. We'll see. :)

Well time to take a shower. I hope I continue doing well today. In an hour I'll have lunch. I'm not sure what I'm going to have yet. I would have a salad but I don't have the ingredients atm. oooooh or a collard wrap! Maybe I'll take a run to the store before lunch and buy salad stuff.

For my snack between lunch and dinner I was thinking of having some fruit. Probably apples with almond butter. Not sure what we're having for dinner. I was thinking of spaghetti.

One thing I need to do is to is make a meal plan for myself. I know some really healthy and yummy dinners I can make. I just need the ingredients and plan ahead of time. hmmmm....maybe I'll make tempeh balls with the spaghetti instead of meatballs. Tempeh is a bit healthier and still has a lot of protein. The ones I make taste like meatballs and maybe I can get away without telling my husband that it's a soy product. lol

We'll see. I'll figure it out.
