Good morning,

It's well known that most folks start the New Year out with big ideas and even bigger challenges that go to the way side quickly.  I am not getting healthier due to the date, I've been working on this for years.  Now, I'm stepping it up to the next challenge.  I am stopping the extreme and changing to the "little every day" approach.

My health is over all good however, since hitting the big 40, I have had that creeping weight that is adding instead of subtracting.  Oh, I've done the tears, the 20 mile run twice a month and even went to the plastic surgeon.  Once I got out of denial and came back to reality, I saw the realistic picture.  I must eat balanced, work out a little each day and give myself a mental chance.

So, just to show my level once progress, I now eat 5 small meals a day and maintained that through the holidays.  My treadmill is on it's way and I brushed off that jump rope in my closet.  I've read through all the weight sites, "JennyCraig, Nutrisystem and WeightWatchers."  I'm not sure if that's the way to go, however, if it's helped anyone else, please share your experiences.

Happy New Years to all
Asha
