End of Janaury. While I haven't noticed a change in myself, bodywise, I have noticed a few other changes. My knees are feeling alot better, and I have more energy. I'm also thirstier. I need to stay mindful of choosing water over pop. Looking at my calendar of happy faces, one happy face per workout...I'm pleased. There's room for improvement, I guess there will always be, activity wise, but I'm pleased. I got off my butt at least three times each week. It is a challenge to stay motivated when the weather is so godawful and impossible to get outside, but I managed! Most of the time, it was a fight with myself not to slide back into my lazy ways, and it often took some creative working in when to get a shower, but I managed! Isn't that funny? I hate taking more than one shower a day, and this seems to be the biggest obstacle to working out for me. On the days where I don't have to go anywhere, this isn't much of an issue, I just dress in my workout clothes in the morning and fit in the fitness when I can, then shower when I can. On days where I have to get dressed and out the door looking presentable, it's harder to fit in a work out. Once the weather is nicer, I'm sure it'll be easier. There's parks nearby, the zoo, and its fairly flat terrain here, so maybe I could dust off my poor unused bike. One month done. I wish I would see more changes in me appearances wise, but I'm pleased that I'm making progress in other areas. Go me!
