Down but not out!

So I was down for a whole week because I hit my head and suffered a "mild head injury resulting in what may be a mild concussion". It really wasn't that bad but I was told no intensive physical activity for a week. :(

An interesting thing happened though during the week... apparently my body has gotten used to my workout... Not only in terms of it being time to step it up a bit but also my mood tended to be on the grumpy/depressed side all week! When I was finally able to head back to the gym it was like a holiday or something lol!

This is a big step for me because if its something to look forward to in my mind, chances are I can keep up with it, so I'm super excited about that!

It also told me though that it must be time to step it up, because when I went back in the 2.8 that had been my workout for about a month was flat out easy! So today I put it up to 3.1 and added a 1% incline. I also stuck it out for 45 +5cd instead of my usual 30. :D I was all tingly when I got home which was great!

One negative though, I shouldn't have let myself sit down after I got home, because I fell asleep lol. /facepalm Oh well it was a much deserved nap lol.
