Ok so just married and life is good. However I need to shed at least 20 lbs for health and joint issues. I've always battled with my weight. My highest weight is now and was also the same weight I was about ten years ago. I shed about 65 lbs ten years ago and was a size 6. I don't ever see that again in my future but I will be happy at a size 10 or 12. I am 5 8" so I can pull off a healthy and appealing weight at about 175 - 180. This is my target. To be truthful I haven't even weighed myself but judging from how my clothes fit I'd say I'm at about 225 now. Haven't seen this In years and I've taken 3 months to wallow and be lazy but now Im ready to get back to a workout routine. I'd like to share with anyone who is also in my position. We are planning to have a child in the near future so ideally I'd like to drop this weight before I plump up again. I know it will be that much harder once baby arrives. I'm also out of work and battling depression due to this so I'm hoping putting myself first for a change will change my outlook and help me get back to a happy healthy place. Today was day one and I did ok. It may not seem like a big deal but it was the first step of a huge journey for me so I'm excited. Will write again in a few days.
