Day one of the roommate lifestyle change!

My roommate and I have decided, each for our own reasons, to undertake small steps to becoming more healthy versions of ourselves. Slowly cutting back on certain drinks/foods and increasing our activity levels.
Today was day one. Run of the mill day: work, homework, relaxing, cooking, etc. But I added in a late night run at the gym (just as it was closing) and followed up with a few minute run in a school building to cap-off my time. I was very proud of how long I actually ran for...usually I give up after 15 minutes but this time I did 25+. I was much less proud of my eating ice cream right after, especially after I logged it and saw my 2 cups of candy cane ice cream was over 700 calories! Other than the ice cream (and slightly higher sodium than I would like) my eating went well.
Tomorrow I will hit the gym again (hopefully earlier) to do some strength exercises. And I will either skim or skip the ice cream.
