Motivated for better me

This morning after running four miles ( not all at the same time though), I decided that even though I dread running that I wanted to continue to work on my run so that in October 2013 I can run in a half marathon. They have 3k's and 5k's every three months in my area and I think it's time for me to actually particpate in a few to build my way up to that 13 mile point... I never thought that just wanting to shed weight would start me on this path to wanting to particpate in 3k or 5ks or half marathons but I'm here now and its time for me to change and become better so that I can live longer and be there for my family.
