I'm drinking lots of water today. It is very hot and I've been helping a friend move stuff from her house to a townhome they just bought. They have until the end of the month to get everything out, but she is doing a little at a time. She can do this, because the homes are about 10 miles apart.
I tried eating a few small pretzels today for a snack to help replenish the salt from perspiring.
This is still my first week on fitclick... I still have a lot of temptations, but writing things down certainly helps. I think once I get into the swing of things, it will be better. I am aiming for a weight loss of 80-100 pounds by the spring of 2015. I don't think that is too big of a hope, but it is still major challenge. 20 months/100 pounds.. that would be 5 pounds a month; 80 pounds would be 4. I think that is reasonable, if I can just keep going.
I have dieted off and on many times. You'd probably call me a yo yo dieter. I reached my goal weight after a 45 pound loss about 25 years ago... and it's been up and down since, but more up than down. I've tried lots of different approaches, but for now, I think this one will work.... just have to persevere, and then maintain !! That will be the toughest challenge.
