On again Off again, injuries BLAH

Stopped with counting calories, but continued with running. Started have foot issues due to shoes. Started doing weight training, but wasn't enjoying it due to weight gain. I know muscle weighs more, but the whole mind game isn't fun for me. Continued running and got up to 5 miles non-stop, but at a price. My feet just got worse. So, waiting for the $$ to save up to buy new shoes and give my feet some time to relax and heal up. Thinking I also need to start counting my calories again.
