Confused

Hello, im my name is jasmine and im 19 years old. I just joined this today and the reason being is because i wanna lose weight. It is very hard for me to lose weight because i'll just gain my weight back because i have a thyroid problem which im on medicine for and it should be helping me lose weight but i also have another problem which is, i have serve scoliosis and i think that is why i have more weight on one hip than the other. i was told not to do a lot of things because of my degree but yoga is very good for me but im just confused on what i can do in yoga wise and what can help me and if i can lose weight? i need help and some advice please. Thank you for who ever answers this and put your time into it. i really appericate it.
