Today I went walking around the campus for about 30 mins. I walked a mile, that is something I have not been able to do in a very long time. I made e feel empowered and focused me on the reason I wanted to get healthy in the first place. Hubby is doing his workout his way and am doing mine my way. Am at a point were I don't want to workout around others just yet. I feel watching it seem so easy for them will deter me. But walking the nature trail and doing it at an effort level of 5 or 6 out of 10 keeps me going. I looked down at the straw on the ground and picked points along the trail to speed up and slow down. It seemed to work. once I have the mile down to a speeed and time I want it will be awesome to increase my distance. Well, time to do morning rounds.
