Acknowledging that you are feeling overweight and deciding to do smth about is a wonderful first step. Be confident that you will make it happen, as after the first 2-3 weeks of changing your regular diet, you will notice a loss in weight, your brain will fall in love with the results and your newly found eating habits will become the norm. Of course you will feel the need to overindulge in your fav foods from time to time and there will be periods of stagnation and even weight gain, but on the long run (having a long term plan and not hoping for a short-term ambition marathon is the key) you will achieve your goals. I have been substantially overweight for the past 15 years and I had almost lost hope of ever having at least a normal figure, let alone a thin one. In the past 1.5 years I lost 50 lbs (!) and I still have 22 lbs left to reach my goal (can you imagine, losing 72 lbs- that’s a small person, for Pete’s sake!).
