Well, I started excercising again- after years of not- in the beginning of December instead of waiting to make it a resolution. I got up between 7-7:30am and went for an hour long walk every day. I took weekends off. I was doing well until the week after Christmas. I spent Xmas weekend helping to paint a community center, though so, that counted (for me) as a workout.
