The last 10 lbs...

Well, I'm in the last 10 lbs to my goal weight now, and it seems like this could be the hardest part. Last week's camping trip wasn't good, from the perspective of calorie control (although it wasn't horrible, with the daily walks) and from the hydration standpoint. I find that if I'm not hydrated enough, then I end up retaining/gaining a fair amount of weight, not where I want to go, particularly since I'm tracking weight loss daily. It's a psychological thing more than anything, but still important to my motivation.
So, the dehydrated/over-caloried weight gain of last week drove me to desperation measures, eating less calories, and even cutting down from my normal 14-16 cups of water per day, a bad idea when you're exercising, and it's hot. That put me in an apparent plateau, and has got me a bit fussed. Just need to keep up the hydration, and I think I'll be back on track again. It may not be the birthday gift to myself (Aug 15) that I was hoping for, but close ;-).
