Added New Dimension... Day 1

Well.... I did it. I did a weight lifting workout.
I've been fighting it for some unconcious reason, although years ago I lifted almost 5 days a week. (different muscle groups on alternating days.. of course)
What threw the switch for me , was my workout yesterday. I did one hour on the eliptical machine with the incline ramped all the way up.... resistance way up ... and running on the thing..... nothing on the heart rate.... I couldn't get my heart rate into the cardio zone. Not even the tricks I use... like isolating the hips or include the arms. Arghh...I was frustrated ... well and a little proud. Look how far I'd come in just 6 months. The body is an amazing thing.
Now I know lifting weights will not add to the cardio but it will change up the routine. Obviously I've got my endurance up on the cardio so now it's time to add another dimension and alternate.
I hope I'm not too sore tomorrow.
