Reality Check Clears

!!! 32% fat !!! I am SO glad I went and got that test done!
I've been grumpy about gaining back 10 pounds since last summer, but all the Curves ladies were assuring me I look great. Since I'm short, broad shouldered, and barrel chested, height-weight charts don't work for me. So I finally went and got a caliper test done at my husband's fancy gym. They told me I have a lean body mass of 108#, so now I can calculate a goal weight for myself.
According to the American Council on Exercise, healthy women are 14-24% fat. 24% fat means 108/GoalWt = 76%; GoalWt = 108*100/76 = 142, which is only 18 pounds away!
Before children, I lost from 155# to 130# and kept it there over a year, with WW telling me I should be at 122 or less. I worked out every day, and couldn't get pregnant. Assuming I had the same lean body mass, I was at 17%, and they were pushing me for 12%; yow!
NOTES: Skin fold measurements: 26 upper arm, 35 lower abdomen, 24 mid thigh. Weight 159# & age 48 used to find my % on a chart.
