getting discouraged

i have been going to the gym and working out for over an hour every night 20 minutes on the eliptical, 35 minutes on the bike, 10 on the treadmill, walk the track for 10 minutes. cut back on eating and have only lost 2 pounds. what am i doing wrong? i feel good after working out but just wish my belly would get smaller. i tell my sister in law i love going but some days i don't want to go.
