Directions:  
In large pot, cook bacon. Remove to paper lined plate. Discard fat. Add onion and pepper to pan, saute until soft. Add chicken broth and potatoes, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, partially covered for 15 minutes. Stir in the corn; simmer 5 minutes more. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Transfer half of soup to blender or food processor and puree. Pour back into pan and mix, add light cream. Heat to serving temperature. Add bacon and mix.
