Directions:  
put the instant pot on saute mode.
saute the onion, carrots, celery with the butter spread and olive oil

add split peas, broth, water, bay leaves, thyme.

cancel the saute mode and turn on pressure cook. set for 18 minutes

when done, let release naturally for 15 minutes.

salt to taste
